Nepenthes jacquelineae C.Clarke, Troy Davis & Tamin is one of the most beautiful and unique highland tropical pitcher plants. This endemic species of Sumatra has pitcher shapes resembling toilets.
The process of creating this artwork took me two years (2021-2023), with moments of stagnation where I lost the concept and composition. However, with all my efforts and determination, I had
to finish what I started. Thus, this artwork depicts both the upper and lower pitchers of N. jacquelineae.
Hopefully, it will contribute to the knowledge of pitcher plants.
