BOTANICAL ODYSSEY captures the essence of a creative journey and a silent yet profound exploration for botanical artists as they bring their botanical subjects to life. By exploring nature, deepening their understanding of plants, keenly observing, taking notes in the form of sketches, journals, or photos, and diligently practising to master their medium and artistic sensitivity, artists engage in a significant learning process.

The BOTANICAL ODYSSEY online exhibition, held by the Indonesian Society of Botanical Artists (IDSBA), provides a platform for our members to present their unique works to a global audience, transcending the limitations of time and space. Beyond that, it is a concerted effort to promote and generate interest in botanical art, especially in Indonesia. By presenting these beautiful artworks, we aim to enhance public knowledge, awareness, and appreciation of the rich diversity of our flora.

From 18 May to 30 June 2024 on IDSBA.COM, 100 works of botanical art by 67 artists from Indonesia and abroad can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home. All artworks are available as botanical art prints in two sizes (A4/A3).
