The Phragmipedium sedenii (Rchb.f.) Rolfe is a classic hybrid and considered a primary hybrid since it crosses between two species, Phrag. longifolium x Phrag. schlimii with composition in 50% for each parent. This is one of the first hybrids made in 1873 by Veitch.

Nina is an artist residing in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. She earned Bachelor in Engineering degree in Indonesia and completed her post graduate study in the United Kingdom.
She has varied career in engineering, particularly in post-disaster/crisis rehabilitation and reconstruction works with the United Nation’s agencies and International Nonprofit Organisations.
She began learning about drawing and painting from online sources during Covid 19 pandemic and decided to explore more about art since then. As a newbie in botanical art, she works with a broad range of media but mostly in coloured pencils and watercolours.
