Dancing in The Rain
IDR -
It was a rainy morning in Singapore Botanic Gardens. I walked under my umbrella, exploring the garden alone when suddenly I stumbled upon a cannonball tree with its abundant flowers blooming. The flowers resembled ballerinas wearing pink tutus, dancing beautifully in the drizzle. My heart beat with an instant feeling of joy and awe. These flowers had chosen me to eternalize the moment through painting.
L Heranisvari
Heranisvari has been attracted to plants since her childhood, and later in life it becomes a blessing that she is fated to work with plants as a landscape designer and botanical artist. Practicing botanical art is her way of how she heals herself through lines, strokes, and form-making inspired by nature. She takes inspiration from how she finds herself deeper through plant observation and how she finds meaning in life in general.
